After 20 years of teaching music classes, alongside 25 years as a professional singer, I earned a Masters in Social Work degree and worked as a therapist for individuals dealing with Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD. Now, I am able to apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques in my Seattle voice lessons. My performing style as a singer encompasses genres from jazz and rock to musical theatre and opera. Currently, I am excited about my latest project, Siren and Soundwave, a blues/country/rock band, where I continue to blend my passion for voice coaching with my musical endeavors.

After 1 year of work as an emotional support animal at a group therapy practice, Dr. Blake is excited to try something new. She is an optional free add-on for lessons as she cannot accompany students on her own due to her lack of opposable thumbs.
